One big change for me is the phone call I received earlier this week, saying that my home based scrapbooking business will no longer be do-able as of July 31. Club Scrap has found that it's not financially able to support the home business as well as their every day business, so they are cutting out the FFC portion. Understandable, because after 5-6 years, it's just not picking up like they had hoped. Poor timing all around. But....made a big decision for me a lot easier....I've been struggling with it myself - both time constraints, and just having the people available to come out to workshops all the time. The economy has definitely taken it's toll on this area for sure. The other aspect of the business is the space taken up in my house - I've been in the process of cleaning things out and trying to simplify a little, and the inventory makes it really difficult.
So now on to the bigger and better aspect of that whole scenario - I need to sell out my inventory. So if anyone has any desires for some great scrapbooking products and awesome quality papers, chances are I have what you need!!
I've also been trying to take a little time to do things I like to do - I love to travel around on my days off, see new things, be active. A couple days this week, I actually went straight to the gym after work - that sure makes the whole evening go a lot better, I find. Now to just allow myself the opportunity to do that on a regular basis, and everyone will be better for it!!
Hopefully have some fun plans for the upcoming weeks, will have to see how it all plays out. For closing, I will finish off with a couple photos from my mini-road-trip yesterday....
