I hate oleander

When we first moved into this house, the oleander between us and the neighbor was seriously about 15-20 feet tall. I started trimming my side, when I realized that it was all on my property - so then I just continued to hack away, much to the dismay of my neighbor. Oh well, if he wants he can plant it on his side of the property, and I'll kill anything that comes over on mine.

What we have now between our houses is all the oleander grown back, along with the ivy and crap that just is a haven for all the rats and mice to breed and make nests and just be icky horrible. I had it allll gone a couple years ago, but we didn't kill the roots so it grew back.

I have 2 green waste bins, and my goal every week is to make sure they are jammed full with clippings - so far I've been doing a pretty solid job. Getting points for our fitness challenge is a plus of course too!! Anyhow - you can see my progress here. Probably at least 4 more weeks of green waste before it's all gone - but beats the alternative - last time I bagged it in black bags and had them by the road for a couple weeks - one time we had 19 bags piled up out there.
